We are excited to be working with Calm City for our upcoming parent workshops that will be focusing on wellbeing and different methods to cope with stress. This is the start of a series of workshops that we will be having throughout the month of May. We will be having a workshop every Thursday starting May 9th, which will take place IN PERSON at I.S.5. Every workshop after May 9th will be virtual.

Please join our Parent Association for their next fundraising event on May 4th, 2024 @ 12 PM. Our Parent Association will be hosting MONTHLY Saturday Family Movie Afternoons! Join us for this special presentation where our students voted for our movie: The Book of Life!

Please read the important information that will be sent out today! We will be having a Virtual Yondr Meeting for Parents and Guardians on Monday, April 15th @ 6PM.

We will be discussing National Junior Honor Society and what it entails as well as any other related topics that come up on April 18th, 2024 @ 6 PM.
The deadline to submit the Google Form for students has been extended to May 1st, 2024.

As we head into the warmer weather and the final months of the 2023-2024 school year, we wanted to take a moment to remind students and families of the expectations and Code of Conduct for The Walter H. Crowley School of Leadership at IS 5.

Please join our Community Education Council for District 24 for their monthly meeting this April 16th @ 6 PM! Meeting will be held at IS 73 in Maspeth- Mandarin, Bangla, Polish, and Spanish translation will be available!
